Engage all the senses
Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

Have you considered a signature scent to add that finishing touch for your wedding reception? Whether its a well-placed candle at the reception or various layers of scents, it works on a sub-conscious level to appeal to the senses and adds a personal stamp as long as you don’t over-do it! In Hong Kong, we love Jo Malone for their wide selection, contemporary brand image and of course, for their crisp and long-lasting scents.

Jo Malone boutiques located at Lane Crawford Times Square, IFC and Ocean Terminal.

From the heart
Thursday, June 24th, 2010

Not only was our recent bride beautiful and highly educated, she had impeccable manners and was a cut above the rest. She overcame all her wedding obstacles (everyone has them!) with poise and grace and was an inspiration to us all!  It was truly a pleasure to work on their wedding. From the bonsai tree centerpieces that reflected the father of the groom’s love of gardening to the individual caricaturist drawings she commissioned for each member of bridal party, she thought of everything from the heart and we were privileged to have helped her make it happen.

East meets West
Saturday, January 9th, 2010

The old world elegance of Spring Moon at the Peninsula Hotel Hong Kong turned out to be the perfect setting for this intimate signing ceremony held in November 2009. As it was a busy time in this couple’s lives, the wedding was almost entirely planned by email and quick phone calls in just under four weeks.

We were entrusted by the couple with all of the details which included all the worldwide travel arrangements for his family and friends, the ‘East meets West’ floral centerpieces, vendors sourcing, a fresh wedding cake and all the ceremony arrangements. Here are some photos!

Simply Stunning!
Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

We were asked at the last minute to step in and handle the ‘On the Day’ & Production duties for this lovely couple just weeks before their big day. They had arranged everything themselves beautifully – from the tasteful flowers by Rococo Flowers to hiring all their vendors such as Johnny Productions (for Photography) and outlining their schedule but felt they needed some professional guidance for the final ‘push’. We also added a few more layers to their wedding day by draping the Main Lounge at the (members only) Hong Kong Country Club in swathes of silky fabric and adding some soft lighting.

They simply wanted to hand their duties to someone else, relax and enjoy their day with their friends and family and they did! From the traditional Chinese Tea ceremony in the morning followed by their outdoor ceremony on a warm December afternoon, every detail was executed according to their wishes. The party continued with an evening Chinese banquet and a live band on the terrace.
